China International Travel Service's subsidiary company, CITS (Sanya) Investment and Development Co., Ltd. won the bid for the right to use a state-owned land at Sanya Haitang Bay for 40 years for RMB 918 million yuan through 'land leasing listed transfer' on Oct 31, and signed the 'confirmation of land leasing listed transfer' with Sanya National Land and Environmental Resources Bureau.
The total area of the land is 192,600 square meters which is to be used solely for the purpose of commercial or tourism services, with a plot ratio of no more than 0.86 and a building density not greater than 50%. CITS will use the land for the phase one construction of its huge project of 'International Duty-free City'.
